Paypal contacting the FBI for me.

So this is how it goes, I am selling my runescape account to a buyer and everything goes great and such and I change all the information to his because I am newcomer. So I request money from him on paypal and everything is going good but then he declines the request, I am like wtf bro? He then starts to ignore me so i call Paypal and I never knew this though, they seem to care A LOT now for online accounts and such. I told them what happened and everything and they checked the buyers ENTIRE paypal and say that his credit card was declined and I then told them how the buyer said that he tried to send the payment multiply times and they said that he was lying. I was like so there is nothing you guys can do about it right? There are like no actually, because i told them about how I made the buyer sign a TOS saying that he has gotten the goods and he likes it and he owes me $140.00 USD. Then I try to contact the buyer saying that I need the money and such and he just laughs and says I can't do anything about it the and I thought he was right, but them Paypal actually told me this. They are willing to contact the FBI and are willing to file a LAW SUITE against the buyer on my behalf, and I am like really? They said this is online fraud because he said multiply times that he tried to send the payment which he did not. So yeah now i'm just trying to get in contact with the buyer because they sent a email to him talking about filing a law suite and contacting the FBI.

I never knew that Paypal would actually do this for me and don't get me wrong I like it but contacting the FBI and everything, I feel bad for the buyer if he does not send me my money.
Has Paypal tried to help you like this? And what are your guys thoughts on this?

You must be very gullible to believe Paypal will contact the FBI on YOUR behalf lol--especially for a mere $140.00 and Runescape related scams.

 

The FBI isn't going to waste their precious resources for a mere $140 over a game when there are drug lords, dealing with millions of dollars worth of illegal goods, on the loose. Just move on, that $140 is as good as gone.

Hahahah FBI for trading in-game accounts which isn't your property and violates jagex's terms and conditions? your runescape account is jagex's property, you had no right to trade it
edit: you're trying to make a profit off jagex's company, this is illegal

 

They are not contacting them for the runescape account. I made him agree to a Term Of Service which he agreed to and then he told me multiply times that he had sent the payment which he didn't. If you guys could read I said that they are going to help me because of FRAUD he said that he lied to me saying that he sent multiply payments which he did not do, and I also rec. the conversation which he said that he had received the account and he was going to pay me which he did not. You guys should really read before you comment. This isn't about a runescape account its about FRAUD, online fraud which happened on Paypal which they are responsible, seriously people ready before you comment, damn.

 

LOL they arent contacting anyone for your benefit by the sounds of it then, they're contacting him for using a credit card that wasnt his, you aren't getting your money, also upload a screenie of your ToS on here so i can read it
also i've tried to use my debit card online before and i've entered information wrong by accident and i cant use it on some websites anymore, most likely all they'll get him to do is verify his card

facekeyboard. the fbi wouldn't waste their time on a runescape account. there is absolutely no way. paypal customer support is notorious for being horrible so i doubt that would ever happen.

 

A Terms and Conditions that you have just drafted up in your bedroom doesn't mean shit.

It's also more fraud on your part because you are trying to sell him something that you don't own!

 

You guys do realize he posted this thread to scare the buyer from Sythe?

He did it in hopes that the scammer would see it, feel bad, and then send the payment/give the account back.

Was wondering why the hell the FBI would be contacted for rs account trading LOL.

 

PayPal agents are now actually trained as FBI agents themselves, and are therefore able to arrest people who scam RuneScape accounts. It happened to a guy I know so it must be legit.

Remember! if they did call fbi. fbi will contact jagex 1st as this is their game. Then u will get ownt by jagex. at end u will suffer half and the scammer will suffer half. so Think before u do.

IMO talk to the scammer and tell him paypal going to call fbi on you. he has the mail from paypal right? so he will give the acc back or pay you the money by some way.

 

first of all u r selling something which is against the rules so u make a lawsuit of something thats not supposed to be sold
seems legit.
