    How will they tax it? They will always be those dealers on the street... how will they tax that and smugglers will always find ways to smuggle it to the dealers on the streets.. I don't think this will pass.

    Why would you buy it from a dealer on the street if you can go into a regulated establishment with no shady buisness going on? Even if your a teenager its still no reason to buy off the streets. How many teenagers buy beer from some shady fellow in the park?

    I really hope it passes. I have not smoked marijuana is a few years but this will prove once in for all that legalization is a good thing. If its not and causes more problems( Highly unlikley ) then we can just shut it down. We won't know the real effects of legalization until we try it. That's all the activists want, a chance.

    I don't think has a chance of passing in Colorado, given the state's relatively conservative background.

    With that being said, personally, I don't necessarily care whether or not it passes. Taxation and legalization of marijuana is probably the most pragmatic approach to dealing with the substance.
