What's your best memory PLAYING Runescape?

I remember my noob days it would take me all day to get 20k then i would go and buy runes and train my magic that's all i did back then good times very good memory's

 

Cutting willows at draynor for hours!! Then calling my friend and bragging about 80wc! OFF TO YEWS BIOTCHH lol

 

Mine was probably when I was allowed to play for 4 hrs and I got 72-75wc in one night!

 

Mines now Skyping with Grave and the nova guys =)

 

Thinking about those memories for like 7-8 years ago gives a little tear in the eyes.. My best memory would be that i would go on with a few friends and smith bronze armour and fish salmons/trouts at barbarian village and go to the wilderness and get killed by those ''legend'' people in rune..

Good times, it will never be how it was, with any game, however..

 

When I first started out, picking flax and then cutting yews.

 

Getting a sub 12 large dung.

 

My best memory was merching before free trade got taken away.

 

When I was a in like 04-05 I lured someone with rune legs to the wild and got them. I was so happy, I was also like 14. My best friend was at my house with me behind me telling me what to do, we split the money and went crazy for like 2 hours.

 

The feeling of rushing home from school 8 years ago everyday to sneak onto RS and pretend I was doing homework
Mum busting me playing then getting slapped on the butt and then hopping back onto RS and same punishment happens over and over.

It was a vicious cycle.

But remember, this is for real life memories, not in-game. The majority of you are misreading.

 

I remember about 5 years ago i used to sleep at my friends house, he had like 4 laptops. and me,him and his older bro would steal the laptops and play all night under the covers.

 

I remember starting in 2002, and while doing the vampire slayer quest, I kept dying and couldn't kill him. A man named WarpedJoker, a 30 yr old guy at the time, who was more experienced (he was level 54 combat which was pretty strong back then) helped me step by step and even stood there encouraging me while I killed the vampire. He then taught me how to make money by mining coal and turning them into coal certs (certs = certificates that contained 5 coals) and selling each cert for 1k each. I remember finally getting my first rune 2 hander for 55k and was so happy.

Sadly, WarpedJoker quit the game in mid 2003 and I never saw him again. I kept him on my friends list and up until I got perma-banned in 2009 for botting, he was the name I saw at the very top. BTW -- he literally had 8 santa hats in his inventory which he bought for 250k each LOL.

If you are around WarpedJoker, I have quit the game for good like you and I'm focusing on real life stuff. Good luck with the wife and kids!

The best memory I had with runescape was actually when I was a poor noob, leveling up and tryna make some money. I remember when my friend picked up 10k off the ground, I was extremely jealous because that was 10x my bank.

I also remember when I first started. My friends told me to careful in the wild. Well, I didn't know where the wild was. So when I arrived at spawning spot at lumbridge after the notorious tutorial island, I thought that the entire lumbridge castle was safe, and out side that was the wild. My thoughts were concreted by seeing other players killing Level 2 men just outside the castle walls. ( I thought that the Lvl2 NPC's were actual players).

Ahh, those were the days.

Me and a couple buddies back in 04' - 05' got hooked on it and would party up everyday after school and no life summers playing Rs, just fucking around, Castle Wars, Pking, Questing, Luring, Merching, even when Barb Assault came out.

 

the number one thing I remember is that I'd play RuneScape for like hours on end, then I'd have to piss, so I'd sprint across my house to get to the washroom. I used to try to get the washroom, piss, give my hands a quick wash then run back to the computer before that 60 second log out time logged me out. i even made it a few times.

one day this lead to me breaking my big toe after slamming it on a half open clothes dresser while running back to the computer lol. good times, good times
