Whos all staying on RS2?

i definitly am i tried the beta and its terrible imo

 

RS2 is the only available gameplay besides RS classic. The beta is only to find bugs and glitches and to get used to the new combat. In all, it still is the future of RS2 meaning it is RS2.

The beta won't change the way I play much (other than pvp).

Staking, dicing, and f'in chickens will remain the same for me

 

No you'll likely have to pay a lot of attention to the action bar for chickens, watch out. Keep that protect melee prayer as your first quick action.

Realistically though, there isn't much to do on the beta apart from pking, when the beta is released to everyone it may be more fun.

Have to admit, the new combat is actually very fun. What I don't like is how they're changing how other things work, when they shouldn't. Prayer won't fully protect you from npc damage, there won't be any single way combat zones, and you only gain xp from killing monsters rather than hitting them. This means ape atol chinning/salve ammy training will be impossible, as well as collecting charms at rock lobsters. On top of this it's going to be extremely annoying when people are stealing your kills, and when you're getting piled by tons of npcs at once.

Overall the update is going to ruin many parts of the game, and there's nothing we could do.

To be honest im excited for the combat rework there is going to be so many glitches to be found/abused when runescape first came out it was like a rampage of glitches fun days

 

Dude, once EoC comes out, EoC will be applied to the current gameplay. You can't run away from it except for quitting and dropping ur phats in falador drop party rooms. (That's where I got 2 of my phats from)

I sold my gold, and am selling my accounts. The game is finished.

 

People who are selling off their accounts and calling it quits are quite dumb (but kudos to you because I heard RuneScape is hard to quit). It might just be fun after the CoR update. The beta's only purpose is to help find glitches and such. This update, I believe will save RuneScape and will let it live for another couple years or even decades. Love it or not, RuneScape will move on, you either move on with it or you move out. I really can't wait to see the impact though. I hope it does good!

 

I dont know why you guys all hate the new beta combat, I personally love it, it's something new get used to it

 

I planned to play only during the summer anyways. ($8 gets costly). The combat update affecting the combat skills is just ridiculously dumb. So I can count myself as being in the quiting percentage.

 

I personally like the new combat, it'll make slayer much more interesting

These people saying they are gunna quit are just stupid... give the game a chance its in beta.. until its fully released everything is up in the air. I personally thing you are just being trendy little sheep following the newest wave of "fuck it i quit" bs. See you ALL in game, seeing as you hang around in forums still talking about it im sure you will continue to play.

I think alot of the issues you addressed in your post are going to be changed , its just a beta after all.. if they dont maybe a mass exodus of people actually WILL quit.. doubt it though. RS just has a supppppppper whiny player base.
