New UI's for Jam

Sadly all ui's have to be boring grey :/ so ya here are some variations.
I WILL MAKE DECENT ONES TOMORROW. JUST VERY LATE FOR ME

 

I'd say do the top left one but have the fire fx from the last attempt, just make it so it doesn't interfere with the legibility of the writing.

Whats the glowy sideways thing inbetween the R and S on the new addition? It looks out of place. Also I think you might need to pen tool fix the a and m in Jam to pass legibility test maybe.

 

i can remove the glow, but tbh, legibility is my least concern. i don't have the slightest clue what this UI said(in no way meant as an offence)

 

I can read Moh's UI from normal screen distance. It is easily legible. The thing is that if the person wants to actually use the UI it has to pass a legibility test. If it fails then it is rejected.

to be quite frank, its still pretty hard to read. idk maybe its just the font/color combination?

 

I have to agree. Most of those UI's are hard to read. I like the most bottom left and most top right one though but it can definitely be improved. I can read Moh's UI as well.. make them more readable is my suggestion.

The new ones are better but I find you need to work on your affects. It just doesn't go and its too bold and covers the UI and makes it that little harder to read. It's better than the others though so I see improvement

I'm not sure if you are allowed do this but you can add a white border around the font so that it makes it easier to read and has it look much more appealing. Take it or leave it, just my suggestion.

I'm not sure if you know what I mean but I mean like the white layout border in between the yellow and black (just outside the yellow) but obviously make it really thin. It'll make it more readable. As for the above, I prefer the ones before that. Keep practicing and you'll get it right. Work with different fonts also, those fonts are blah.

 

i knew what u ment. just that it wouldn't be nice since all text is made in c4d, thanks for the feedback, i'll wait for Jam's feel about these

Yeah that font is my favorite too, easily legible too. I still like the idea of the fire fx at the bottom though, perhaps try a combination of the two?
