    How can I fix my sleeping pattern?

    Lately ever since summer began, I've been going to bed really late. I've went to bed at 7-9AM for a few days and now my sleeping pattern has really fucked up. I can't fall asleep until around that time. It's 6:11AM right now and I've been in bed for 2 hours now but can't fall asleep. What can I do to fall asleep and fix this fucked up pattern? Usually when this would happen during the winter, I would open up my windows and freeze my room and then sleep comfortable under my blanket but its summer out and I can't use that method now. What do I do?

    go to bed 30 - 60 mins earlier every night, dont try to do it in one hit.

    I tried doing that but I'm usually just moving around in bed and then these thoughts of what I'm going to do the coming days comes in, I think of that, get a little excited and can't sleep any further because of that. I'll try what you said again and see if that helps.

    How can I fix my sleeping pattern?

    Watching a boring movie, reading a book, music and if that all fails although I wouldn't recommend it, but if you can't fall asleep naturally take a sleeping tablet.

    You stay up a whole night and day (completely exhaust yourself) without causing any "damage" so to speak to your body and then go to bed around 7-8pm then you should be on track to sleeping normally, then follow Synful's advice.

    You could also try to go for a massive walk/run play sport swim anything that will nakka you.

    I can't stay up the whole day.. I get knocked out before 12pm and I feel like my eyes are moving faster than my head when I nod my head (Idk, I just feel like collapsing). I would do what you said above but I busted my knee cap so I'm in a brace and cannot do any of the mentioned sport/activities :/

    I'm in the same pattern, if you want to fix it just stay up the whole night, make sure you don't fall asleep during the day and then you're really tired.
    Then just go to bed on the time you want, and you will sleep like a baby.

    You don't need to run nor eat or anything else..

    Easiest way to fix a sleeping schedule is to stay up the entire day/night without going to sleep so that the next day you're so tired you go to bed at a resonable time. Usually this corrects itself the first time.

    I was in the same pattern when I was addicted to video games every summer after school was out, but now that I am not in school anymore, it doesn't happen. You just have to have mental strength to do it.

    I always mess up my sleeping patterns.
    Best thing to do is a mixture of the above :)

    If you go to bed at 7am set your alarm for 10am and then stay awake untill 10-11pm if you don't feel tired, try and go for a jog or something (try and get back from the jog at about 9-10 (depending on if you go to bed at 10-11). When you get to sleep set your alarm for 7-8am and then just keep up that routine until your body gets used to it.

    How can I fix my sleeping pattern?

    I usually just have coffee.
    If my pattern is screwed up and I need to sleep at say.. 9PM, I have like 1-2 cups of coffee at around 1PM. It keeps me up till then and I crash when I lay in bed :)
