    Cigarettes and nausea

hi guys, if anyone smokes cigarettes they will have some idea what i'm talking about. i started smoking cigarettes when i was like 15 and smoked for around 2 years. i smoked like half a pack a day or so and i never got nausea then when i smoked, even when i started. i quit for around 6 months then i started up again and like 75% of the time when i smoke a cigarette i get nauseous, like i feel like i want to puke a little bit in my stomach but i never do. i don't get why i never got nausea before but now i do and it's really annoying cus i like cigarettes i just don't like the nausea that comes with it. anyone else experienced it?

I have never smoked a cigarette ever and never plan on doing so either, but a couple of my friends have been thru the same thing you just described here. I told one of my friends that he should really stop smoking and now I'm going to tell you to do the same. It's not healthy and disgusting :x

Same thing has happen before to me. Don't smoke much but when I do, it usually always happens to me. I'd suggest just stopping. Especially at your age. Stop doing it before it takes over your life.

its probaly because you stopped for awhile i used to smoke and i gave up for 5 months i went back to it and it felt sickening, after awhile i started getting used to it again and was ok i used to drink a hot chocolate or cup of tea (i dont drink coffee) with my smoke when i got back into it and smoked fuck all but yeah it helped, i understand you like smoking most people who hav'nt smoked would'nt understand you socalize alot more ect, but thankfully after smoking since i was 15 (im 22 now) i've quit for 2 months hav'nt even smoked when i drink alcohol(which is apparantly the hardest part) i replaced it with working out and i feel a whole lot better ,food taste better ect...anyways man all i can say is smoke less per day and drink a hot drink your body will tell you when your ready for more, if not i dont know man maybe you sick:p

In a way the nausea is good, as it is a sign that your body is rejecting the foreign chemicals :) After quitting for so long, why would you even want to start up again?

If you're serious, then you're an idiot. If you aren't, then you're just an asshole. Same goes for pretty much all your posts.

Considering he only gets nauseous while smoking a cigarette, it's clearly not cancer.

I've actually had a patient with something similar, it's rare but possibly that your body has developed a minor allergy towards Nicotine.

You should try your best to quit smoking but if you can't take a few weeks off and get Benylin Mucous & Phlegm relief. My buddy had the same problem but when he took Benylin, he was at the toilet constantly spitting out the buildup of tar. Its worth giving a try, I personally don't see how it would help with nausea but it worked for my friend. Worth giving a try :)

Just give up and then you'll be fine. I don't understand why people smoke when it is almost guaranteed to cause you illness and discomfort.

I've been smoking cigarettes since I was 16 and I've never felt necessarily nausea as opposed to just not having an appetite.
Smoking isn't for everyone, really shouldn't be for anyone tbh, but in this case, especially not you.
You might think you're addicted, but you really don't even know the ½ of addiction.

    Clearly you've never smoked :p

I used to smoke when I was around 10, we were living in a really rough estate (For England anyway), any ways, even if you feel a bit dizzy or sick after, you always get a craving to smoke again a while after.

My advice: break the habit. It's a waste of money anyway.
