In my opinion this combat rework is awesome, i find it hard to understand why so many people cry about it.

 

This is honestly going to make me return to RS to PK and stake.
Haters gonna hate.

 

The actual combat rework seems like it will indeed be awesome, atleast imoi really dont like the character stances and the combat lvl formula atm, its going to make wayyyyyy too many people "maxed" combat and encourage only one general type of account to be played... one with str/atk/mage/range all the exact same since it will not change their combat levels.. also prayer SHOULD effect combat lvls .. someone with turmoil ect is gunna wipe the floor with someone who doesnt have it.. BUT since it IS beta i honestly think they are going to have to rework the way they are currently doing the lvls. Also WTF duel wielding chaotics but no duel wielding whip GF jagex. (im aware of the ee and its buffed stats it just still seems ridiculous)

 

honestly guys what's your opinion of the combat beta? is it fun if you've tried it? when can regular players do it?

 

I have only played beta on the first day when it came out but it was way to laggy for me to actually judge it. Don't take my word for this but, I believe in the next few days July 6th or 7th all players will be able to try out beta

 

Please tell me you didn't just say stake.
A boxing match now takes around 10 minutes on average.
Most staking is ruined.

 

I believe this update will not be as devastating to pure combat as people think it is

 

The update is ok, I can still use my main alot. I won't be able to pk and stake on my pure though.

 

Too bad with 82 Dungeoneering he won't have that second chaotic when the update is actually released. The Beta is owned by people who just spawn those chaotics. He is getting too much credit when he is using chaotics against others who aren't.
