One Runescape question.

I was hacked on Runescape after this 2 months break i had taken , now it seems i can only get the account with the email?? The hacker of course changed it , and now i can't do anything , i have all the info I even tried contacting Jagx , suggestions?

 

You could always act like a very angry parent but honestly it sounds as though you may be fucked due to the way the pw recovery is .. how in the hell did the "hacker" get your email pw and stuff??

 

Try to e-mail [email protected] and explain the situation (from the point of view as a parent). That's the only way I think you'll have any luck.

 

go to the forums and find the section called account help then go to help recovering an account and explain the situation and if it's true jagex will lock the account then you can manually recover it.

 

There are only 4-5 threads exactly like this on the first page of runescape general, READ and educate yourself before making threads repeatedly asking the same shit over and over please. You could talk to jagex and they can possibly do an ip check on the account if it matches you will more than likely get it back. Emailing jagex as an angry parent seems to work really well, as does being persistent. PLEASE read the other MULTITUDE of threads on this exact subject before making anymore, thats a generally good idea before making ANY thread. Please and thankyou and GL getting your account back

 

Your inconsiderate and repitious posts consistantly deviate from the topic and are not helping anyone. They all contain flame and would be depicted as reportable, if you're not going to post useful information help yourself out of RuneScape Gen.

OT: You can post on RuneScape forums, however they will lock your account so if you are not confident in your ability to recover i would skip that path, also if you email [email protected] with your recovery information they will do an account reset for you. It generally takes 2-5 days for a response.

No you need an account, which is why i would just go with the email route.

You were hacked and that the email was changed, you need a email reset.

Send them your information, date created, membership, recoveries, etc..

 

Are you on the IP you created the account on? You should be able to recover the account if that's true

 

isp, and your ip would help alot as well. You can find your ip by typeing "whats my ip" on google. If your the original owner of the account jagex will most likely give you the account because of your ip matching the one that created it.

You are doing the exact same i did, i answered
the question as well as said please and thank you in regards to people needing to read the multitudes of other threads on the subject before posting, I in no way flamed anyone. Before you make accusations of people flaming and threatening reporting posts you should read the post in its entirety; I suggested/supported the idea of emailing as an angry parent, as well as pointed out that persistence seems to be king when it comes to recovering accounts. I do not appreciate your idle threats and lack of spelling ability when you are obviously trying to convey what you consider a serious point and backseat mod.

OT: A irl friend of mine recovered a hacked account (and got the hacker locked out of it) via the forums using a different account (than the hacked one in question) and requested an IP check to prove he was the original owner. Its the same end we could hope for via email but in my experiences you get much quicker results posting on the forums than you do with email. As others have said it will get the account temporarily locked until the matter is sorted out but if you have no access to the account anyways that should not deter you. Good luck
