Hello, a few months back I ran a club for Sythe members to play Poker for RSGP! I am now back and able to maintain the club and hopefully we'll get some regular tournaments going .

The poker games will be held Pokerstars.net, some for high stakes some for those with a tighter budget. Some of the games we play aren't scheduled and will be organized when a handful of members are online at the time. Because of that, please add my MSN ([email protected]) as I have created a list of frequent players there which I always invite when games are going on. I will also notify any members idling in the IRC channel, #SythePoker when a game is about start. However, larger tournaments will be scheduled in advanced.

Typical Game Rules (These are negotiable, just ask):
- "Sitngo"
- Everyone buys in with the same amount of RSGP
- 1500 chips
- 10-20 blinds to start, they increase every 10 minutes to speed the game up
- You must play until you either win or lose, otherwise you automatically forfeit
- For small games it's usually winner takes all
- For Larger games 1st, 2nd and 3rd will take home a predetermined percentage of the prize pool
- Some games require you pay a small hosting fee on top of your buy-in which is split between any MM and myself (this is an incentive for me to maintain this )

How the Buy-ins work:
- If the stakes are small and all participants agree, the losers can pay the winner after the game is over
- I, or a more trusted participant can hold the buy-ins
- Alternatively we get a MM to hold onto the buy-ins

How to join:

1. Sign up and download Pokerstars
2. Launch Pokerstars and login
3. Go to "Home Games" > "Join a Poker Club"
4. Enter in the Club ID "597580" and the invitation code "winsomegp"

2.5b pot -5 people mabye 10 so a 2.5-5b pot. 3 prize places, like 50-30-20 or something like that.

 

What veng death said. 250-500M buy-in with 5-10 people, I'm sure we could fill up the spots relatively fast. 2 prize places 70-30

I would maybe go up to 100m just becuase It's not much, and I wasn't serious about the 2b, but I could see some people doing that, this could do pretty good.

Added a new application form for the club. This will allow me to sort members by their preferred wager amount and make it easier for club members to contact each other about games.
