[SPOILER] Spoiler Tags [/SPOILER]

Hey guys,

I don't know if this is possible or allowed but whatever.
Something that is present in many forums, but not this one is the ability to use spoiler tags. Like I said, I don't know if it's easy to add or whatever, but if it could be added that'd be great.

Seems useless in my opinion. What would you need to use them for?

 

For movie/event discussion usually. Like if someone wanted to talk about the results of a UFC PPV or a book or a movie, but not spoil it for people who haven't seen/read it yet.

Its very simple to add by the way, any administrator could I think.

 

Well for that section it's great... But seems a bit useless for any other. Unless you're selling names/accounts and want to hide the names from search engines/guests or anything I guess.

 

It could also be helpful for service threads.

Take questing, people like to show all the quests they have completed for people by taking pictures and posting them in the OP, for big services you get large threads.
Putting those pictures in a spoiler would be helpful, you can check them quickly, and ''put them away'' again.

This could also be helpful for services like firecapes, pest control & barbarian assault.

I've seen this on a few forums before. I mean it's not important and not very useful but if it's easy to implement, couldn't see it being an issue. Wouldn't ever use it, not sure if that mean's I don't support it, I wouldn't mind it.

 

Sythe used to have the tags. They were removed due to some form of abuse if I remember correctly. As of right now, there's no plans on bringing them back.
