Runecrafting

Are they getting rid of normal runecrafting or something? The altars are smaller and the wizard npc says something about the energy for the altars not being everlasting...are they going to change RC completely or something?

 

I doubt it, then there wouldn't be regular runes. Its probably the lead up to a future quest they will release.

 

Not trying to be rude but the nature of this question is ridiculous .. we arent jagex nothing has been announced as to the fate of runecrafting so no one can give you a definitive answer. Im pretty tired of these questions without any real answers, all you will ever get is opinionated answers with no facts behind them. Ill play though: in the beta many spells require less runes than in regular rs, that along with what the wizard you spoke too says indicates to me that runecrafting as we know it now MAY very well be on the outs.

 

It's not like I was seeking a definitive answer..pretty much all the questions on here are speculative. So I don't really understand your complaining behind it. Especially since some may have read on a future update or something if they were planning to do something with it..and I might have missed that.

 

Don't worry he went to my thread where I was selling my account and posted something like that LOL.

Anyways, I haven't talked to that Wizard, going to do so now. Interesting, never heard about him saying that .

It's for Runespan - well at least the Wizard Fenix in the Wizards tower lead to it. The dude who sells stuff. I'll go see altars

Yeah man I saw it today when I was going to craft some natures, and the altar was smaller (I figured maybe to confuse bots, but there was an NPC there and that's what he told me).

So I wasn't sure if there was some update they talked about..but seems like that hasn't happened.

 

The wizards are there to let people know about Runespan. They have been there for a long time.
So the lore behind it is that some wizard at the tower thinks that the altars are decaying or something, and the Runespan will be the only way for people to get runes.

I'm fairly sure it's not a future quest, but idk.
