Is major real world trading a perm ban?

is major real world trading a perm ban? this kid fucking stole my account and got me this offence, am i screwed? sorry for language just mad that i might have worked like 3 years for nothing.

 

JaGex does not like RWT at ALL i know for a fact that they ban accounts for RWT. Since the guy stole your account you can use that against JaGex saying that someone stole your account and did it and it was not you. They will check the IP on it and see what time your were on the accounts and if you were on during the RWT session then yes you could get banned.

 

Yeah, if you're lucky, hopefully you wont get permed.
But I've been permed for RwT on a mule before.

 

Once they perm ban for RWT they rarely reverse the ban. Never even heard of it. Blaming it because you got hacked as a story.. they probably won't buy that.

How do you know you got the offence if he stole your account? You just got it back?

 

idk i got some email that one my account got banned for major real world trading. it's weird though because when i sold him the account i changed the email over to him, and i got the email 4 days after i gave him the account. so it doesn't really make sense at all to me, i'm kinda confused. i have no other accounts linked to my account either. kmjt, can you please answer my pm i sent you?

 

Screenshot the email here including the email sender's address, it could have been a phisher.

 

yeah i checked the address it said it was jagex, i checked the address it was right, but it was in my spam folder and the link didn't work so who knows

Yes it is a permanent ban. Don't waste your time trying to recover it.

 

More likely than not, as mentioned above, it was probably a phishing e-mail. I don't believe JaGeX sends emails telling you about your ban, unless via the Message Centre on their website. Correct me if I'm wrong though.

 

Just say you got hacked and you'll most likely get a long lecture from them.
Ask them to check IP's during the time the offense was given and if you are lucky i mean who knows Jagex is random.
But I feel like you are pretty safe because there is much more bigger problems going on.

 

Whatever you do, don't enter passwords if it asks you too, it could well be a phishing email.

 

it was definitely a phishing email cus i got back on my account and it's fine, just gotta wait 5 more days cus it has a bank pin.

 

Jagex dont send emails about offences, they only send emails for account recovery appeals and whenever you get loyalty points

 

Yeah it was deffo a phishing email. Can a mod close this now it's been answered.
