I met a girl 4 days ago on the train. We caught each other looking and we happened to get off at the same stop. I walked up to her and called her gorgeous and we got to talking. it was nice small talk and I walked her to where she was going and she gave me her work number to give her a call. . I called her today for the first time and she was happy to hear from me saying she was expecting me to call the day after i met her and she liked how i was different. We had a pleaseant conversation. We spoke about our plans for the weekend and she told me her friend cancelled on her. I told her id be with a friend tonight and asked if she wanted to hang out. She then asked me for my mobile number and she texted me. this is the chat log

her: I hope i got your number right
me: yeah you sure did
her: so where do you usually chill with your friends?
me: Usually we go out but tonight ill just be with a friend. I was hoping we could hang out at your place.
me: Unless you want to go out. (double text)

she hasnt responded and its been 8 hours. keep in mind she moved here from russia 5 years ago

I wouldn't stress about it mate. You haven't done anything wrong, and she's giving off some good signs if you're describing it right.

Sounds like she was eager to hear from you originally, so I don't know what could have possibly changed. Give it some time.

Alright, she probably still likes you. Who knows why she hasn't texted back yet, but if she really likes you she'll contact you. If it's been a couple days and she doesn't text you, then I'd start to worry lol.

Yeah bad idea offering to hang out at her place, considering you just met her. You could just say something like, "on second though, do you want to catch a movie?"

No definitely not. That just makes it look like you're trying way too hard and you're just digging yourself a deeper hole. You can't take back what you said. Just forget about it and don't mention it again unless she does first. Text her next time saying 'hey what's up" or whatever and act like it never happened. From now on, don't invite yourself over to someone's house, especially someone you've only talked to for like 5 minutes. That should be pretty obvious. She probably didn't text you back because she didn't know what to say considering you came off as really weird and creepy. Asking her if you could come over would have been bad enough, but what you said was much worse.

 

i think ill just text her next week and leave it alone this weekend

 

You fucked up by inviting yourself. But don't stress too much on it, wait for her to make the next move and just wait. But you never know, maybe she lost her phone. Maybe she died. But none of that matters, as long as you don't make the next move youll be good.
