Recording on a mac?

Hey guys, i want to make youtube videos. I have a mac. What program can I use to screen record? Thanks!

 

Copernicus, capture me, captureit, ishowu, screenflick, screenium...

Theres a lot of different ones.

 

Actually, you can use Quicktime Player to record your screen. To do so, just go to Quicktime Player > File > New Screen Recording.

 

Never knew this. Is it possible to run for say 8 hours straight and how laggy does it make the mac when playing runescape?


OP: I used to use Camtasia because it is noob friendly and is also a great editor (if you want to edit your pk videos and add special effects etc.)

quicktime is shit quality and I dont recommend it if you wana make vids for runescape. I use camtasia and I LOVE IT.

 

that's what i use, plus screen flow works well. anyone know if fraps works on macs?

@bugga: I think you can use the free trial over and over if you know how.

 

I use screenflow and the quality is great.

Screen flow is what i use.

 

This is by far my favorite way to screen record if you have Snow Leopard and up.
