Really Jagex...? Really?!

Adverts on login?! Game is turning to shit...

 

Yeah I noticed that. I had the same reaction.

 

Truly shows how money hungry JaGeX is, and on top of that if you're a non-member and get a members item from the SoF, you get the message "An Awesome Member's Object, subscribe to claim"! Anyways, my solution for this is to simply switch tabs, and browse Sythe a little.

 

Are they adverts on member's logins? Because I haven't encountered any yet. I do know that there are in F2P, though.

I've encountered these advertisements multiple times. They are a real pain, not even a skip button.

Yeah. The new directon Jagex are going in is terrible. Jagex are slaughtering the game with these kind of updates. I can hardly call it RS anymore.

 

It is kind of crazy... but all companies have ads so im not that surprised.

 

Jagex didn't forever, but that's when they had a thriving community. The game is slowly dying :'( .

 

If you mean the video's that pop up, I've had them many times and they're annoying as f*ck.

 

As if SOF wasn't enough for jagex's ways to get money. Now they advertise too. Agreed. Jagex has turned to shit. Still though, many people are addicted to the game and continue to play.

 

Buy membership then... If you're F2P, you deserve to see ads. You're playing their game for absolutely nothing.

 

I remember they used to have video adverts in the game, but they got rid of them due to backlash from the community. It seems that Jagex just doesn't give a shit anymore.

If your f2p you deserve all the ads they throw at you, especially with how easy it is to bypass the ones above the game now.

 

How about you buy some membership, no adverts. Its pretty obivilous what there doing, look at youtube facebook twitter any popular site has advertisement theres an expamle. Every company has advertisement . Its the new thing get over it and accept the fact if u cant buy members your gonna have to help them out by watch a video big deal.

 

While ads are annoying, people that are f2p can't really complain, you are playing the game for free. If you don't want ads, then buy membership.
If a 1 month membership costs $8.99 USD, and it lasts for 30 days, then it costs $0.30 per day of membership, not that much.

 

It is a pain to wait a min to even log in, but you can skip it you have to sign up with some site first to do so though

 

Jagex has turned to shit because the original founders of Runescape, the Gower Brothers don't work with them anymore. I think because they're gone, Jagex's values and intentions towards the game and its players has drastically and dramatically changed...
