I haven't heard of anyone being banned in 2012 actually. There aren't many threads where people are bitching about bans lately... There used to be a lot.

Jagex is probably waiting for the bot nuke, or they're too busy with the beta to care about bots (I'm sure that update will kill a lot of bots - at least all combat-related ones).

 

I've never been banned, or muted, or received any punishment of any kind from Jagex on RS. Some people are actually interested in following the rules.

The only time I ever got in trouble was for calling a PMod a troll, but that got cleared up pretty fast after ranting on the forums lol.

I haven't been banned nor have i heard of anyone getting banned for botting in 2012, and i even bot pretty hardcore.

 

Well I have been botting 4 Accounts the last 2 weeks every 5 - 6 Hours I give it a 1 hourish break then start it up again been doing it 24/7 pretty much and still nothing I kinda want to see one if them banned...

Probs sell the account for big Bucks.

 

Or Jagex is compiling a list of accounts for a mass ban. Just like they use to in the RSClassic days - banning thousands of accounts in a day.

 

That would make a something jagex would do, they wouldn't lose a lot of money plus every one would then go make a new account and add membership again jagex would profit of it if anything.

What do you mean by 'Smart Botting"?

 

he means using common sense, regulating botting times, taking breaks, talking to people, the character is dressed right, etc etc

I have never really gotten any offences from Jagex so far.

 

Not been banned in 2011/2012, suprisingly enough.

You should only get people to respond with a form if they have been banned, not if they haven't been banned. It's alot less clutter, and you still get the answers you're looking for..

Also, on the subject, I haven't received any bans~

What for: Haven't botted since the last nuke.
How Long: From the time of the bot nuke. A month earlier my botting farm was banned.

 

How much where you RWT and what method to get banned?

 

This was months ago, probably sometime in February or March. At the time I didn't have access to multiple IPs so I assume they just traced me. Because technically what they banned me for I didn't even RWT yet. I multi logged and transferred 1b from my main to my mule on the same ip and for that they banned me for RWT.

 

Damn that sucks man, Ill keep that in mind. TYVM.
