Pure's Becoming Absolete

I believe that with the new combat beta update pures will become obsolete because of the fact that the new update mostly converns higher level things and such.

 

Most "pures" would be 50 def...and tbh, I don't consider that a pure.

 

I was just starting a pure =(

 

I think 1 Defense pures are done, but I think a new breed has been born. Such as Barrows Pures/Zerkers etc.

 

These 'breeds' have been around for years rofl. I doubt Jagex would cause the vast amount of people who own pures to quit/stop paying membs. They will accomadate for everyone somehow.

 

Pures aren't dead at all. If you know what you're doing you do just fine.
If you've played RS only and no other ability/skill based MMOs then you're going to have to learn, if you have then you should be doing fine.

 

This makes me lol. 1 def pures will still have a place in the game.. fighting other 1 def pures end of story.... they wont be able to touch a main and good riddance. I dont see it as a big deal yes it seems def is gunna be alot more important but the 1 def pures are still gunna have a niche fighting eachother hell it may be even better in that aspect. Im fairly sure the new combat level equation is to stop pures from with say 99 atk and 99 str and 1 def from being able to own mains (thank god) their combats will be alot lower therefore not able to attack most mains. It seems to me that pures arent gunna be nerfed just different..

 

I heard claws are going to be used in the gloves slot.

 

I say good riddance. I have always thought pures were such a waste of time and detract from the overall game.
