I added him on skype. We agreed on the Gold/Gold ratio. I said i would go first.. He added me on D3 first. (His D3 name being "Sin") I then traded him 90m (as you can see on the D3/RS SS). I sent a request to join his game...then sent him a request to join my game. That is when he removed me from both games and logged out of RS. He then changed his name from "John Looby" to "rick" on Skype. Im still capable of right clicking "John Looby" and it showing his "skype name: Gamergod86"

I still have the skype convo if you want anything else posted. He denies that it was him even though his profile clearly shows "gamergod86".

im not really worried about 90m...yea it sucks i was scammed...just dont want him to keep doing it...since he is keen on denying it

 

I need to see more of the Skype conversation where he says his D3 battletag and his RSN please, to prove that you were indeed trading with him.

i dont have screenshots of in game chat, im kinda new to this.

You can clearly see that i gave him my battletag on skype (while talking to Gamergod86) and him clearly adding me in Diablo (You have a new friend request). You can see where he said to meet him on world 8 in the GE middle (where he was the only person besides me.) Clearly offered trade and the 90m was given.

Also the fact that in the thread he claims to "not be John Loomy" yet i have proven that John Loomy with the UNIQUE skype name "Gamergod86" was the person who i was talking to.

Now if i was "scammed" by someone else. How would the scammer have been able to know that i was coming to world 8 GE middle...and how did the scammer also at the SAME TIME get my battle tag. I was clearly trading with Gamergod86...but my naive understanding of how "black market" trading works (dont do this often) was taken advantage of by not asking him to confirm his name ingame

Like i said, i don't care that i lost 90m RS...but what i do care about is the fact that you would require more information to actually take further steps. If you want to allow your members to get away with this, then thats your prerogative. I have learned my lesson: dont use this site unless your dealing with someone with 2K+ vouches.

 

Sorry to upset you, but my job is to just be as thorough as possible and make sure all angles are covered and looked at, so I can be confident I am banning the right person.

You are not the only person who has failed to properly document a trade.. in fact it happens all the time. And that is why I am requesting additional information - just to make sure I have as much as possible, and can make the case as strong as possible.

Do you at least have more of the Skype chat you can send me? It would even help just to see the slightest admittance of guilt, or him acknowledging on Skype that he is trading you, etc.

 

No response from OP after repeated requests for more information. Going to have to close this.
