How the crucible works?

Hey guy's I'm thinking about starting a new account with the money I get from selling my old accounts.

1. I want to make another pure so how does the crucible work?

2. If I'm level 80 will i get paired to a level 120?

3. What's the min level to get in?

4. Is the wildy still there?

5. Are 1 defence pures good inside it?

here is how it works basically...You need to have a lot of money. You need to be maxed with 99 summoning...You need to safe up a lot and bring a yak with brews/rocks...than you win...

If not, you're fucked tbh..

- Don't bother, it's one of the worst updates in history.

2. If I'm level 80 will i get paired to a level 120?
- At the moment it's possible, they're going to fix it.

3. What's the min level to get in?
- 60

4. Is the wildy still there?
- Yep

5. Are 1 defence pures good inside it?
- Nope, maybe with 99 summoning. It's a multi zone but you can only attack your own target and can use summoning too.

 

Don't forget: you lose all items when you die!

1. I want to make another pure so how does the crucible work?
You pay a certain fee to enter, then get a target. You either have a choice to engage in combat, or flee to the banking area.

Keep in mind, that fleeing will cause you to lose your entry fee. Which means returning to get a new target will cost another entry fee.

2. If I'm level 80 will i get paired to a level 120?
You will probably get paired with a 100-110 from time to time

3. What's the min level to get in?
60

4. Is the wildy still there?
You can still pk in edge, easts, etc.

5. Are 1 defence pures good inside it?
No, unless you have a steel titan, and you're maxed.

 

I wouldn't even bother making a new pure with the combat rework so close. It would be such a shame to spend a bunch of time & money on an account that could possibly suck balls in a few months.

I think you are matched with targets based on the new combat level formula. Who else agrees? I always see maxed ranged tanks (99def and 99 range which will be lvl 200 after the rework) being matched with the 138's which will obv be lvl 200 after the rework.

 

I lost 20m because I didn't know that :/

 

It's all about thinking out of the box, go in with full veracs and just pray the shit out of them, it has gone good for me do far
