the end to pures. New combat evolution.

alright so pretty much pures are gone.i am in a beta server now with my pure. pures are required lvl 50 def to wear rune and inifnity robes, black d' hide chaps and so on. This game is going to cause a lot of people to quit and the new combat style is extremeley confusing.

Mains are enjoying this very much but for pures, they are sucking. everything is bad now and nothing i could wear earlier is equipable now. so gotta train to 70 def i guess...

 

But a pure for f2p still seems feasible

 

The new combat system is NOT confusing.. It's just DIFFERENT. You have to get used to the changes.

 

50 Defence? Lol wow this is going to sucks real bad since my 2 accounts are Pures 1Def ....Ill just make 50Defence Pure then im guessing

 

This is something that should have been implemented long ago, pures are dead, time to move on.

 

Are you dumb? Go to the wild, there is probably about 60-80% more pures than mains pking.

 

Tbh pures aren't really dead, people are just going to make new pking machines that will be way better then say mains. Maybe people will start just getting 50 defense and that will be considered the new 45 defense. Time will show what really happens to the pures.

It isn't too bad of an update for mains but I liked some aspects of it, new prayers, spells, dual wielding, etc. but the way armor buffs are implemented isn't right. I've already started botting defence on my turmoil rune pure because half the gear I worked up to will be useless.

 

Imagine a few years later Jagex makes another big combat update that will make 1 defence pure useful again... Bet many people who got defence up after this update will be so mad

Pures are like cheating and lying when fighting someone. Honestly I'm glad their gone and everyone who made one deserves it.

100% for combat update... I can't wait. (Just stating my opinion no offence to anyone on what i said)

 

can't wait for this update haha, cause then I'm never training combat again!

oh and I've never been into the pure thing really but yeah, this update is just stupid.

I feel bad for the pures though, atleast they dislike this update like me.

 

Jagex just hates pures because they manipulated the combat to something Jagex never intended on. Jagex, of course wants to have equality and give every player a chance whether that means people quitting or not. For every old player who quits, there's a newfag to take his place.
