Is there a way to boot someone off your account?

If someone is on your account and you're trying to get on, is there a way to kick them off and lock it or something?

 

Yes not immediately (depending on how many J-Mods are on),

Yes, or at least there used to be. Not sure if it still works.

If you recover your password using your email it will kick you off and require you to login again.

 

Simply lock the account out. It will boot the player off the account til the owner or someone that knows the account recovery info.

 

Just request password change and it will make them lose connection

 

this isnt even the slightest bit true. but yeah, you'll have to get the account LOCKED somehow, in order to boot someone off the account.

I heard that recently recovering the account actually physically makes their jagex client lose connection and they appear at the main menu. This may be wrong however, I'm not positive if it works.

 

yep im pretty sure it forces the account to disconnect, happened to me when someone recovered an acc i bought a while back

I am going to close this because you've got plenty of answers, and because I don't really approve of this question anyways. Unless you are having a problem where unwanted people are frequently gaining access to your account, I can only see one reason why you would want to know how to suddenly "boot" people off your account - and that is to scam.
