Quadclaw - Banned for something I didn't do?

Today I got banned for something that I did not do. It seems that I was accused of scamming someone a couple of weeks ago and was not banned until today.
I have had no interaction with the person who reported me, and don't see how the pictures he showed was evidence at all.
I actively encourage my customers to always ask for a Sythe PM and post on my thread with a form including specific details such as quests required etc. I wouldn't even consider accepting an order from someone who has not done so for this exact reason.

 

I will take a second look at your situation, because I am a little confused myself as to what happened.

A user approached me last night asking why you were roaming free around the forums, and linked me to the scam report that was posted on you a few weeks ago. The original user who reported you for scamming showed me evidence via PM that proves he gave you his account, which you cleaned out. I went on it myself to check that it was cleaned out and sure enough, nothing of value was left on the account. I posted these pictures on the thread but deleted the post so that it is only viewable to other mods (which explains why you cannot see it yourself).

The part I am confused about, is that I closed the report weeks ago and wrote "Banned, thanks", yet it seems I forgot to ban you or you somehow fell through the cracks. I had no idea you were still roaming free until somebody approached me about the situation last night.

I looked around and HiImNew did not post on your Questing thread, and so before adding each other on MSN there appears to no evidence lying around of the deal you agreed to. But in the screenshots below, you can see that on June 7th, he made 5 separate posts in separate Question threads, stating that he needed ROTM completed on his account:

It is my guess that you saw him posting and approached him privately & off the record offering to do the quest for him. Then on June 9th, he posted this on your Questing thread after he filed the scam report against you:

I am currently trying to get in contact with HiImNew and see if he sent me the PM conversations or any other interactions between you two, because the original message he sent me containing all the proof against you has been long deleted.

I believe this is enough evidence to keep you banned, at least for the time being while I wait to speak to HiImNew. I'll leave this open for a few more days in case there is more evidence to add when I hear from him.

 

Just wanna say that there being nothing on the account when you checked doesn't really prove that Quadclaw took it unless his was the last IP on the account, and there was proof of what was on the account before he was given the info. If there's proof Quadclaw is lying about having had no contact with HiImNew though, he can probably stay banned

 

Yeah I realize that don't worry, but I thought I would include that detail anyway. It doesn't mean I've entered that as actual proof.

 

No contact from HiImNew yet, so I am going to close this and reopen it later if/when I hear from him.

For now, I believe there is enough evidence to keep Quadclaw banned for lying about not having contact with HiImNew.
