Don't listen em. Quitting is easy once you've found something better to keep occupied. You noticed you've started to gain weight, so maybe that could be some incentive for you to go out more. If you can find something that keeps you active and exercising, getting rs off your mind will be a breeze

7 years is a long time. When I quit, I realized how much time I've wasted on a game. It was physically degrading me and my eyes, I was losing my perfect sight. Now I discovered my love for the gym and now love working out. Maybe now, you'll find something beneficial to do with your life. Sorry for your misfortune but see this as a lucky break from RuneScape. Good luck with what you do!

 

You shouldn't quit it if you enjoy it, just take a little break from it and don't play as much as you use to. I myself quit for 3 years and now i'm back but i don't play for hours on end i take a few days break and such, also i play Football and i have practice 4 days a week so that keeps me busy. Just find something else to do and take a break from rs.
