Slayer glitch?

Well i got kurask as a task last night, i went to smoky well and got on it potted up brought terrorbird and gear to last the 180 or so i was assigned .. but i could NOT hit .. i was wields lbs with dfs .. i had just bought the dfs earlier in the day and thought it may have something to do with it`so i grabbed ddef and broad bolts and a xbow to try that too and even checked out the rellakka dung this time .. still no dice. I have had kurask tons of times and have had no issues what so ever, my stats are all atleast 85+ .. i ended up skipping the assignment for the time being, i was just wondering if anyone has heard anything like this happening and where the proper place to report it would be. You were using the correct weapon against them right? Coz I remember you can't hit on them with MOST weapons except for a specific few? rswiki it perhaps.
