    Creatine

Hey guys, I'm going to buy some creatine to help me bulk up a bit. I heard creatine with monohydrate was the most effective.
I don't really know the best brand of creatine for NZ, since we don't have an extensive list here and there's not much info on the web about these products.
Does anyone know the best creatine product out of this list: http://www.shotgunsupplements.co.nz/shop/SHOP+BY+CATEGORY/Creatine.html
    ?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Any reason why your limited to that store? Prices seem very expensive. Any micronized creatine monohydrate will do if you want to be picky get a creapure one, multiple brands have it.

The choice is very important. Low end products have a higher chance of causing kidney problems. I was in the hospital for about 2 weeks in high school. MAKE SURE if you get creatine of any kind to drink a TON of water while working out or doing activities. I wasn't and working out with football in the morning and playing baseball in the evening, next thing I know Im on the ground in pain holding my stomach and it all could of been avoided by drinking more water.

The doctors and my strength trainers put me on muscle milk...IDK if you have tried it or not but it worked for me without the side effects.

I'm a wrestler, and all of my coaches/ other coaches in my conference advise us not to use creatine, I've never asked because I've never wanted to use it. If you want to bulk up I'd advise you to buy protein. ^_^

The mono hydrate has less of the other shit in there. People say stuff like Jack3d and 1MR (popular creatine products) are not good for people who are still growing because it contains more stuff other than creatine.

Creatine is also best mixed with glucose ;)

    3 creatine products I recommend
    1. Creatine monohydrate, 4 times a day with meals on the first week, then once after a workout everyday until done
    2. BSN Cellmass - Creatine Ethyl Ester, very fruity and smelly, does not require a loading phase and take it once after workout
    3. Creature - Contains a variety of different creatines, havn't personally tried this one but I have heard great reviews, and it's quite pricey.

I saw great results with Purple-K. Gained 10lb in 2 weeks with proper nutrition consuming close to 3000 calories a day. During my cycle, I felt great. Just make sure you drink a lot of water to maximize your results.

At least 80% of that was water weight, unless you are eating 1500 over your needed calories. Lets say you were eating 500 calories over, when in reality 100 over is what you are generally going for.
    500 calories a day X 14 days = 7000 calories over
    1 pound = roughly 3500 calories
    7000/3500 = 2lbs.

    Creatine

With my metabolism, It feels as if its almost impossible to gain weight. With creatine it did help me put on weight but i only did 1 cycle of it and i havent lost that weight yet. The creatine basically got me started up, mixed in with Mutant Mass and BSN's Syntha-6 Protein. I thought i would loose weight because of the water retention but I've kept it so far. My changes in nutrition definitely is helping me maintain the weight so I don't think its all water weight. I have much more energy and my physical strength has increased.

    Creatine

what on earth are you on about?

creatine is not anabolic steroids, creatine is found naturally in our body through diet, its just very hard to get a decent quantity of it through eating, because nothing is essentially packed full of it.

creatine just raises your ATP levels effectively giving you more energy, because your body will store more water, it aids muscle recovery and repair, just like taking a protein shake or eating a few eggs/chicken would do.

do your research before you slam something making it out to be bad.

Just a little modification, it doesnt "raise" ATP levels, you only have a certain amount of ATP that gets replenished over and over again by our energy systems, ATP then is broken down to ADP and energy is released, then its renewed and such

Creatine fuels up creatine phosphate (CP), which is the fuel for the ATP-PC system, primarily used in sprinting and lifting and such!
