Botting is REALLY back. 6 hours +!!!!!

Hey guys, I've never been a gold farmer, just run 2 bots at a time for my own personal use. At the moment, my 10 hp range pure/skiller and as always, my main.

Set my two bots up, came back to them after 6 hours to close and re-load to start another 6 hour session. I get there, scripts have been running for 6:30!

I check back in another few hours, 9 hours!
I go to sleep, and wake up to see that my bots ran for 12 hours!

I'm using powerbot. has it somehow overcome the 6 hour game end session?

 

If you enter your details into the clients, they will reload runescape and then log back in and resume whatever they were doing.

 

I have not done this though.

 

You don't need to enter your details to evade the six hour auto log. When you return to lobby all you have to do is click on enter game again, assuming there has been no update to runescape making you have to reload.

Yeah just wait in a few weeks it will be gone due to the nuke and it will have to build up again.

Im pretty sure they did actually make a statement that part 2 of Optimus was going to be introduced in late July? did they not?

Powerbot's RSBot is the only botting client I know that can do this. I've achieved a 11 hour proggie on Epicbot before, but those are rare occasions where the Runescape client token doesn't log me out.

To clarify, however, how the RSBot client bypasses the 6 hour limit: Basically, whenever you're logged out due to the client token being expired, the RSBot client pauses your script, waits 5 minutes, then reloads an entire new session of Runescape, refreshing the client token and giving you another 6-ish hours of play/bot-time.

It works really well, too - I've achieved a few 24 hour proggies, before the game itself crashes (not RSBot's fault, something with my computer).

 

But i have not entered any of my details to the client?

 

Well, I really can't say why, because I'm not watching my bots for the whole 24 hours. However like I said, the game doesn't always log you out, potentially allowing you to bot for well more than the 6 hours you're supposed to have. I have seen RSBot refresh the entire game client, but I used my account details for that, enabling it to log in and resume the script.

There are methods injected into the client such as getUsername() and ***********() which are probably called upon sometime during the 6 hour reload. For example :
