RuneScape Gold Prices

Do you think that RS gold prices will rise with the bot nuke, and discuss everything about Rs gold prices below because I am very interested because I have 2b that I want to sell but not at such cheap prices.

 

I honestly don't. This is a very small nuke and stocks are very high. Goldfarming bots will still be around and even looking at the last nuke, prices stayed semi-stable.

 

Well, if Jagex pulls through, it'll send gold prices up a bit but I don't think it's going to be too significant. I don't think prices are going to hit over $1 a mill anytime soon.

 

Yes a little. Enough to make you want to hold onto your 2B and sell a few weeks after this second bot nuke. maybe even months, you'd just have to see what the story is with bots and when they'll be up again.

 

I think more people have migrated to Simba/color bots so I'd say RSGP prices will rise but not as much as the last nuke as less people will be out of Gold Farming.

 

One of the JMods stated on Runescape Wikia that the coming nuke is mainly focused on colour bots since they were still active after the first nuke.
I'm assuming all the ID bots are going to get done too as they managed to disable them after every update.

 

I know people love botting but I really hope it gets stopped. I really want a good market without these crazy gold farmers making like 1B a day.

 

Its only going to rise for a little bit, which maybe like 10 cents, won't make a huge difference.

After the last bot nuke prices weren't affected much at all because they are still competing among each other. If they raised their prices they would lose business. Now if a month or so rolls by and there is no good alternative or fix for the bots they are using then I could see the price of gold potentially raising, it's going to be slow though.

 

Tbh i don't think gold prices will ever go back to like a $1 per mill because there aren't as much people playing rs now then there were like say a few years ago. 3/4 of the players playing rs at this moment is probably a bot, and that is saying a lot because now people can just bot and make money instead of grinding to make it. That's just my 2 cents.

They can't counter color bots really as they respond to the color. Unless they make the colors fluctuate or hard to distinguish from each other (greyscape) which neither would be a popular choice, they can't do much about it.

What I think is that if Jagex really comes with a good botting nuke, and really gets most of the bots BANNED, then I think the goldprices will drop, not rise!
why? I think a lot of people bot and they'll stop after the nuke, and they will sell their gold. So there will be a lot more gold on the market!

The demand for gold will be alot higher without gold farmers, regardless of them selling their stocks.

 

Nope, because most Gold farmer sell there gold at a certain amount 2147M is an example so for the first week or so gold prices would be the same if all bots where knocked off, but after all the stocks we diminished it would rise like crazy.
