The wood in guitars play a pretty big important role so I'm skeptical as to how these guitars would sound, if I were to try one out and found the quality to be equal and they toned the price down a couple notches then I'd definitely be interested in getting one

    This.

Tbh, I wouldn't even be interested in trying it out. Wood defines the tone, I'm sure the paper (that's obviously made with wood in some sort of fashion) gives off a tone, but I just don't think it compares to a handmade guitar made out of an expensive exotic wood that would cost less than what they're selling these "Print-off" guitars.

In short - It's crap, save your money for something better.

The technology is going in the right direction IMO but I'd imagine they'd definitely gotta perfect the tone.

I don't even like the look. I've seen a kid who plays hockey turn his goalie stick into a guitar, though. You can do just about anything so long as the parts fit in and it works. I definitely prefer a nice rosewood fretboard with a sunburst finish.

    Yeah definitely.

I could see people being interested in the 3d guitars as they are new and different, but they aren't my cup of tea for sure. Stick to traditional guitars imo.

    For sure this.

How the hell are they going to get the same tones from plastic as they do from wood?

I don't think they will sound the same, unless it is digitally adjusted. A good old Gibson or a Fender will still be better.
