dual weilding weapons, whats everyone think?

well in the new video jagex released it shows dual wield what I believe are dragon scimitars and then at one point I believe it was a whip and a crossbow [ didnt watch the entire thing]

so do you think you will get a larger weapon strength bonus? hit twice as fast? seems like a cool idea hidden within the pile of shit that is the combat update. maybe this game will be more like diablo 2 than wow. which would be a great thing.

 

Are you sure it wasn't a defender? Can you link us with a video to support this claim, please.

 

I am assuming with most games it will be your offhand weapon only hits a percentage of the damage that it would normally. That is the most common system anyway.

 

Dual Wielding isn't really a bad idea, and is common in other MMOs as well. Imagine dual wielding two chaotic longs

and btw dont even compare runescape to diablo 2. no matter how hard jagex even tried diablo 2 will always be 500000000x better then runescape.
