Fuck my ex

It's a long story. Trust me - it's fucking long and I don't have the time to explain everything. But basically, my girlfriend broke up with me over, like, a month ago. She texted me a few days later saying "ohh I don't know if that was the right choice. I miss you I wanna give you another chance bla bla" then 3 weeks later she texts me again saying "I know I promised we would talk about this and I'd give you another chance but it's best we go our own ways! bla bla".

Like, ok? Whatever.

In the beginning I was sooo sad. I would have done anything for that other chance. Anything to hold her again and get things back to how they were.


But now - fuck that. All I want to do is get over her. BUT I FUCKING CAN'T!!

Everything in my life is basically great. I have a great job that pays well. I have good friends and I'm really pushing myself in my education. My family life is great and I'm living well. Ever since my ex broke up with me too, I've been going to the gym with my friend and it feels amazing to work out and look better/get healthier.

So, why the fuck does my ex still bother me so much? I've "No contact"ed her as much as I can. Deleted her from fb - all her friends too. I deleted her phone number. Got rid of all her photos and everything that has to do with her but no matter what I feel like absolute shit most of the time just by simply getting reminded of her.

Ugh it fucking sucks so bad. I don't know what to do. We dated for 3 months btw.

 

Bro listen i've dealt with girls like that before, and the reason why she wont stop bothering you is because she still loves you actually and that she knows she made a mistake and she misses you. Even if it seems she's upset and she keeps on talking trash to you it is because you wont accept her back into your life because she wants to be with you. Trust me bro. IT's like a love hate relation, if you just dated her again and dealt soem things out, all should be fine, and if not in a matter of months, bitch aint worth a dime.

 

1 Month isn't that long.

Trust me, I know how hard it is for you. It hasn't been that long, I know this will be hard, but it will take a few more months for you to get over her completely.

I suggest trying new things, find a new hobby, things that would occupy your mind long enough till you're over her completely. You will soon, eventually, think less of her and get reminded less of her. Eventually, you'll also be over her. It hasn't been that long, and it takes time.

This is possible. But if you do decide to give her another chance, expect a lot of bumps in the road. You both will be on and off continuously. It's best you just avoid this completely, as it will most likely end up like this, except it would be harder to get over if you spend more time.

 

I meant she bothers me as in she is still constantly on my mind. She doesn't actually bother me - in fact I figure I'll probably never hear from her again honestly.

Well fuck relationships man. Is all this seriously worth it? ugh.. I honestly figure once I find a new girl in my life I'll never think about my ex again. Don't know how long it's going to be for that though :/

 

Another girl will take your mind off of her. As Apith said, 1 month isn't long.
I always say this, but time is best for healing, there is no quick and easy method to instantly get over someone.

 

I figured all this. UGHHHH lol.

It's just bullshit in my eyes because:

We dated for 3 months. 2 months of those 3 (I'm not exaggerating) we spent EVERY SINGLE DAY together for basically the entire day. She would tell me she would "love me forever no matter what" and it's fate that I came into her life..

..but she breaks up with me over a 30 second phone call. 3 weeks in, I call her and she picks up and immediately hangs up then she finalizes things with a text.

Like...the fuck? I feel like such shit.

 

Be honest.
State what you just told us, tell her that you don't wanna hear from her again.
Lie to urself to get her off you.
example telling her that you don't give a fuck about her even if you do, so that she will fuck off.
Keep up with the gym, glad to hear everything seems to be going better.

 

Girls are just like that, well at least most of them. They love to feel like someone wants them, regardless of whether or not they actually want to get back with you. The fact your moving on and your life seems better without her will bother her, just ignore her and her efforts to try and contact you if your genuinely happy.

The hardest part of the break up of a serious relationship are the weeks/months directly after it, everyone thinks they are hurting so badly because they were in 'love' some people may have been but most people are just shocked by the disruption in their life, no one likes change and it just takes time to get used to it.

Time will be the judge of whether or not you actually have feelings for this girl, or just haven't adjusted to this monumental change in your daily routine.
