The title says it all, do you have any phobias? If yes, what kind of phobia do you have?

Thankfully, I don't have any phobias. ^_^

Heights, used to be really bad when I was younger but I'm kinda growing out of it now.

 

Suffocation. The thought of that has haunted me in the past.

 

Always put in mind that you're not afraid of heights, you're afraid of falling.

The word you're looking for is ''Pnigophobia'', or "Pnigerophobia".

 

I'm terrified of spiders. Always have been.

I have two phobias, spiders are number 1.

As crazy as it sounds, turning my back and walking upstairs from a basement in the dark.

 

I couldn't care less. I've had enough of trying to get rid of my phobia. If cognitive behavioural therapy didn't help me, then I can't be bothered trying.

 

Perhaps a comparative phobia, when your phobia takes it to an extreme, something you've had since you were young, it isn't that easy.

As I'm sure Verts knows, (at least for me) trying to get therapy for something that you've had so long, and it not work, only strengthens the phobia because you're now aware nothing will help.

 

I have something called Trypophobia; "an irrational fear of holes"

I've definitely got arachnophobia. No matter how much I try, I just cannot deal with spiders. I fucking hate the little bastards.

I've also got a bit of claustrophobia when it comes to really small spaces. This one isn't too bad and I don't get claustrophobic too often, but I've had a few incidents where I've realized that I am definitely slightly claustrophobic - this last time I went caving and had to craw through this extremely narrow passages, knowing you can't turn back as the space is far too small, and that if you were to get stuck or if the walls caved in, you would be completely wedged in the rocks face-first. It was very hard to remain calm and not panic.

 

i have a phobia of spiders, but after my recent purchase of a airsoft sniper rifle, they are no longer a problem, and now when i spot a spider in my house instead of the hairs going up on the back of my neck of fear, i now get an adrenaline rush of excitement, grab my sniper and well, you know the rest

used to have a phobia of heights but I've gradually gotten over it, I'm alright now

Definitely arachnophobia. If I see a big one in my house and it gets away before I can kill it, then I'm looking around everywhere I go for the rest of the day. I absolutely hate when I walk through a spider web. Same goes with centipedes. Can't fucking stand them. They're so creepy and move really fast. I had one crawl all over my arm once and almost died.

 

Dying and extreme pain.

 

im deathly scared of needles... like i freaked out the last time i had to get a shot.
