Gold Farm Question

Hi, I used to bot soul wars mules with Rsbuddy but I stopped when the bot nuke came out. I recently came back and I was wondering what is the best thing to bot for gold farming? Is Sorceress's Garden still the best for farming? Thank you in advance.

Also, what is the best and cheapest VPS to run two through five bots on?

 

Apparently sorcerer garden is the best/ most stable. It's what I'm going to run. I'm not sure about the VPN but my friend told me powerbot has VIP vpn's that can run like 6 bots for 7$ a month don't quote me on it. Cheers.

 

Thanks man, i'll look into the Powerbot VPS. I think that I'm going to use Sorceress's Garden, do you have any idea about how much gp per hour you make?

 

Only like 200k an hour but if you run a massive amount of bots then you can make a lot. Look into that powerbot VPs thing for me though I haven't personally but if it's true it's that cheap I'm stoked.

 

The other advantage of sorcerers garden is the low req for the account, which can be bottled in a day unlike lots of other methods.

 

Will do, just wondering, what is the best way to train Theiving when you start a new account? Is it to just pick fruits at first?

 

Keep this in mind when buying a cheap vps. Cheap usually means oversold nodes; your bots will most likely have trouble running.

Not enough information at all, and figure it out yourself.
It really depends on what script you are running, how stable it is, and what the market price of the item(s) you are botting is.

Run a script for an hour or so, figure out how much gp/hour you are making.
Multiply that by how many bots you will be running, multiply that by how many hours you plan to run it a week.
Wah Lah, there is your answer.

I wasn't looking for an exact answer there. Instead of doing that, I was asking an experienced botter for a rough estimate on how many bots he thinks it would of taken to make 250m in about a weeks time. Wasn't asking him to figure out some mathematical equation.

Now do some simple math, as I said above.

250M A week / 7 Days In A week = 35.71M A Day
35.71M A Day / 24 Hours In A Day = 1,488,095M / Hour
1,488,095M An Hour / Your estimated 200k/hr = 7.44 (Pretty much 8) Bots.

You had all of the information you needed already, just needed to do some simple atrithmatic.

You will need to run 8 bots NONSTOP (24 hours a day) making 200k/hr to meet your quota of 250M a week.

 

I've only ever used Photonvps and it did the job for me; no complaints. But when you see the sites selling vps that are designed for runescape botting they usually oversell. They purchase a server and distribute the nodes (vps') among buyers. The more they split the server up (the more vps' they sell) the more money they make. So when they say you are getting 4GB of ram for example you may only really be getting 1GB. Also the problem with runescape vps sites is that everyone that purchases their vps' are botting runescape and pushing their vps to the max it can handle. If every node on the server is doing this, all of the nodes are going to experience problems. With a site like Photonvps that isn't designed for runescape botting, most of the people who own a node do not use the vps to its max specs because they aren't doing anything stressful to the server like botting. You may be the only node on the server botting meaning your vps should run flawlessly.

Btw this is what overselling is if you don't understand. Say the website owner buys a 16GB server and cuts it into 4 nodes, also known as 4 vps. He then advertises 4GB vps' for sale, but he ends up selling 5 vps so really its not 4GB ram per.

That is why renting a whole dedicated server is so much better then renting a vps. That way YOU control where the resources are going and you know what you are paying for.
