To buy a high level account or not to?

No. If I were you I would only buy here on Sythe from trusted users. Preferably a high donator or someone with a status he or she never want to be ruined.

EDIT: This may require some waiting, but you are better off spending only once, paying a bit more, then trying to buy a high level account 2 or 3 times to then give up because you get scammed time upon time.

 

Seems to good to be true to get an maxed for only 180ish USd.

They can always scam. The biggest risk however is not them not giving the info, but recovering the account weeks/months later, taking away all your work.

 

What about this new recovery system ?

 

The story behind it is I bought the account a month ago got abit scared but he happily refunded me and if made me think maybe he is genuinely an ok guy

 

Don't do it over eBay. It's possibly the worst place to be buying accounts as you hardly know the person and if they do scam there's not much you can do about it.

With regards to the new recovery system - it's even easier for them to recover it. As long as you have the first password and original IP you can recover the account within a couple of minutes.

Rather buy an account from someone on Sythe who has a reputation for account sales.

No. No doubt can you get a better account here on Sythe. And it's more reliable, if you find the right buyer. The guy could just recover it, and he would lose nothing.

 

Yep; like everyone else said, buy an account from someone trusted here so you won't get scammed. It's too easy to recover an account.

Stay away from E-bay when trading in RS. You have no clue about the seller and his intentions. You are far better paying for one from a trusted member here on sythe.

Like several other users have said, dont buy an account off of eBay. Buy here off of trusted users and or use an a trusted MM or OMM and video and or screenshot the whole transaction and save all chat logs, that's the safest way. Also don't ever buy an account from gold4fun/us one etc. because it will get recovered and they will not help you. Good luck. Can you tell me how do I recover with first password and original IP? It asks for my email which is closed since it was a very old email.

 

You go through the full recovery process - just enter in the wrong email until it takes you to the full recovery form.

Although, I really do hope that you have no malicious intent.

I think you have enough answers to help aid you in making a decision. Please use your best judgement when you are purchasing an account, and remember that the account can ALWAYS be recovered by the original owner.
