Question regarding VPS connection

I figure i'd post here rather than opening a ticket because i'd get a fast response here -

I just purchased a VPS with photonvps and attempting to connect to it via chicken of the VNC for mac. I recieved my details regarding my VPS on photonvps, but cannot figure out how to exactly get connected to the VPS. I received my IP address for the VPS, as well as a username/password. If i'm attempting to login to VPS via chicken do I insert my IP address as my Host and then use the password from the username/password section as my password? I figure I have to put a port on the end as well, and I tried using 5900 as my port because I believe that is the default port, but i'm not quite sure. I'm attempting to use ***.**.***.**:5900 as my host, but its not working. I also attempted using 5901 as the port.

If anyone has any input, it would be great.

Didnt they send a url to the login?

 

Use the IP address to connect to the VPS at first.

You should be taken to a Windows login screen, where you have to click on the account, enter in the remote desktop username/password.

And then just use the VPS like you would a computer.
