    I'm still fairly new to the name section, but what do you mean by deleted?

    also who are all the people that have a lot of the names? Sam, ect.

    It means they no longer exist on a current account and can't be taken by anyone. They are pretty much held hostage by Jagex for various reasons.

    I can confirm that firemaking is locked. A user named "Ancientgoldmaster" on powerbot has FlREMAKING for sale. I was looking for the name firemaking myself and came accross his thread on there.

    Update: just been notified that Ancientgoldmaster is a banned sythe user.
