    Just need a lil' advice

I'm looking to purchase a netbook. Using it only to run a program which I don't want on my regular computer, as it doesn't let me use my mouse.

The 2gb RAM is better than what I need.
I got the seller down to $120. Worth it to purchase? Or should I wait it out for a newer model. It's mostly a pricing issue to be honest.
    Thankyou guys.

Considering it's $250 on amazon, I'd say so. Although you've got to take into account it's been used.

I'd say definitely worth it but why not use a vm?

It doesn't work on a virtual server. And I would prefer something I can own to be honest. Thanks for the advice :)
Also, please note that it was $250 in '08 or '09 but has upgrades.

Acer are alright I suppose. Personally I think you should at least upgrade it to 4GB of RAM if not 6 or 8, remember Windows 7 will take up at least 1GB or more of RAM when running, not to mention other programs will take up RAM also, leaving you with very little RAM left to work with.

Aside from the RAM it seems ok for what you are looking for, always be wary of second hand computers though.

Well my laptop is Acer and I really like it. Keep in mind though that this is simply for a program and for browsing the web occasionally.

It will be fine for browsing and light programs. Usually older netbooks like this don't have room for 4 gigs of ram, or the mother board cant even use more than 2 gigs. Keep in mind it only uses a 1.6Ghz single core processor, so anything too intensive will be a no go. My brother has roughly the same netbook, and it can run runescape on lowest graphics, but at only 25ish fps if that puts anything into perspective.
