If you were Bill Gates, what would you buy/spend your money on?

I think i would buy a private jet, and a lot of houses around the world, and see something new almost everyday, buy lots of nice cars.

What about you?

 

Wouldn't swap lives with him if I had the choice to. But if I had no choice, then I would...buy my youth back.

 

Id rather have his money than be him. But If I were him, Id just get my family straight for the next 1000 generations and keep the company at the top and running so ill always have an income. Id then just travel a lot and buy whatever I want just chill. Maybe buy out other companies.

I'd travel my whole life and basically do what I want/buy what I want when I get a spontaneous idea. Can't really think of one thing I would buy because with that kind of money I would buy everything lol.

 

Bill gates himself is in debt so I would not want to be him.

 

I'd put a billion at least into medical research, buy everything I'd need or ever want, and put it into the bank. I'd also get a million 1's just to swim in .

I'm going to assume this question is supposed to be "If you had as much money as Bill Gates, what would you spend it on?"

So here's what I would do:
Buy a couple really nice houses for myself, and one for each of my immediate family members.
Pay off my girlfriend's college tuition/debt and pay for her graduate school.
Buy some fancy cars, motorcycles, and a private jet.
Donate some.
Buy a ton of amazing electronic stuff, especially all the major Apple products.
Install a home theater in my house(s).
Buy a closet full of Gucci/Luis Vuitton/Prada/Chanel/etc. clothes just because I can.
Do whatever the hell I want :nuts:

I can't think of anything else right now.

I own a book about Pablo Escobar, written by his brother Roberto. He said that they literally had warehouses just stacked to the roof with piles of money, and when you have much that money in one place it actually gets moist and rots, and apparently it just stinks to high hell as well.

So yeah... swimming in a million 1's might not actually be as appealing as it sounds

 

-Travel the world
-Expand my wardrobe
-Get a collection of cars
-Buy a country estate

 

Being a history buff, I would collect historical objects from around the world, and build a museum to put them in, something like the Henry Ford museum. Also I would buy a helicopter and of course flying lessons. Can't forget a nice mansion, one for me, and one for each of my extended family members. Then I would donate the rest.
