EDIT: Not got Curses,just normal prayers,no maul,no void and just 63summoning.

 

You could do it, take chaotic maul and void if you have it for the Range defence.

As for waterfiends, Karil's armour & a Chaotic maul works fucking wonders there. Make sure you bring a bunyip or a unicorn, and lots of prayer potions so that you can use turm & soulsplit to heal up. You can usually camp there for a few hours before you need to bank.

 

Thanks for the help, not got maul,uni or bunyip but I'll bear it mind for future when I have them.

 

simple setup that i prefer over the godsword route,


karils/blackdhide <-- i just ran blackdhide tbh, dragon mace with dragon defender or any defence should for range/mage, and a ehanced excal if you have it for more hp.


Why the dragon mace? well for starts it's faster, still hits hard, and has a nice crush attack.

SS if you just want the special attack bonus, i've tried the GS method, but still preferred the dragon mace.

 

Are you close to having a Bunyip? It is really, really worth getting one to go to Waterfiends. You can go there without it, but you won't last nearly as long. The bunyip is incredibly useful for healing you, and also because the Waterfiends drop raw fish quite often, which you can feed to your bunyip to directly heal your life points for the same amount you'd get for eating the cooked equivalent of that fish.

As for the chaotic maul, you can also live without that. Waterfiends are weak to crush though, so you need to have a strong weapon on crush to kill them effectively. You could use a godsword, or a Zamorak spear.

As for the armour, black dragonhide works fairly well if you have a low budget. But Karil's is quite cheap and REALLY worth it. Waterfiends will hit fast & hard with both magic and ranged, so it is good to have a gear setup that has defence for both attacks. You will end up taking a lot of damage, and so without a bunyip & good armour, you will find yourself running out of food very fast and having to bank every few minutes.

You can start using the Bunyip at 68 summoning I think so, but as everybody said try getting karils and use something with high crush. May I ask where did you get the waterfiends script? Been looking for one

 

You will be ok at waterfiends. I have gotten a lot of accounts charms there legit that were lower than 68 summoning.

Get karils with SS, bring a void spinner, and bring SGS for specs. You can last around an hour and a half there with that setup. Make sure to pot frequently.

Try to do familiarzation to get 68 because after 68, you can camp there for a very long time with bunyip.

The void spinner is a lesser version of the bunyip. It heals you, albeit very slowly. On the script or the page advertising the bot there will likely be a required gear or minimum gear list, take a look at that perhaps?
