In all seriousness I would go back to private servers. They are just much more enjoyable for me, and everyone knows one another.

 

You'd cry like a littlee girl... all supplies would go through the roof. sharks, logs. 99 firemaking would become a myth

 

I don't bot right now and have a bunch of items that will rise like a motherfucker if botting ever ends. So I'd be quite glad if its existence is killed.

 

You could do something productively without botting, you know.

 

I can't really think of anything that's productive on Runescape that I could do instead of things like: hanging out with friends, having a social life, making out with my girlfriend, having sex, et cetera. Hmmm...... Play runescape for an hour... or get blowjob by girlfriend... hmmmm.... reallllllly tough decision there..

 

I'm not talking about productive things in runescape.

If I want or need to do productive things, then I log off runescape and do it.

You seem to think that that's impossible without botting.

Maybe you should quit runescape rather than botting it for the sake of botting (and stop ruining it for people that wish to play legit), if you cannot find that balance.

The day ALL bots are nuked is the day runescape no longer exists

 

they can't do that on windows and linux. Mac they need to set permission.

I wouldn't mind if they were nuked for good, I enjoy skilling myself when i'm bored. Bots do nothing but frustrate me, fighting over a bot to get ore, logs, fish or hunting.. Do away with bots, it would make me happier.

 

Haven't botted an account I play on in over a year so it wouldn't effect me really.

 

It wouldn't really effect me. I have started playing Zarpor and I think that it is better. So no, I wouldn't cry like a little girl.

 

Yeah Runescape would likely decline if that happened as it would no longer be as much of a viable source of income ( a lot less players paying membership )

 

The only thing I'd be sad about is prices going back up on stuff over time(although hopefully I'll have finished most of my goals by then).

I personally don't bot, so in general I wouldn't care.

 

I would be very happy. Bots kill the value of GP for the few of us that earn GP with services.

 

That's actually a really good point that slipped my mind, lol.

The value of gold being lower + people trying to get big services, etc. done for like 1m(a lot forgetting the actual gp value, or taking advantage of others not knowing) = a big mess and unhappy service providers

I try to be reasonable yet make it still worth my time, although that's a little tougher to do now.

When I look at people offering to do like 100 quests, 99 skills, or whatever for like 15m...I don't know whether to think they are totally clueless of what they are working for or are just extremely desperate. Either way, I feel really bad for them, that the current prices couldn't make those kinds of things more worth it. :x

I only used to bot when RSBot was becoming popular in its middle stages up to the point of when it changed to Powerbot, after that I havent even bothered trying to bot.
