    What Should I Persue?

I am a senior in high school now and I am looking to do something interesting as a job. I do not NEED a job, but I really just want like a payed internship. I am an engineering student and a kick ass app developer. I have been hounded by two companies (one government and one normal) to come to be an intern with them.

One company is SPAWAR (its a government information systems and security facility) and the other is SPARC (A local computer development company that wishes to enroll me into their mobile app development team).

I have an interest in both of the companies as my interests at the moment are split. I love to work on electronic hardware and fix errors within its software and prevent malware (much like SPAWAR), but I also can spend hours without noticing programming applications and bettering the use of my DROID (much like SPARC).

SPARC is offering me $12/hr to intern on their mobile app dev team. While SPAWAR is offering me $10/hr to intern on their cyber security/software functionality team. Now the numbers are telling me to go with one company, but the hours are the key...

SPARC requires me to work a minimum of 20Hrs a week. While SPAWAR allows me to come in and work whenever I feel like it, for as long as I like. Essentially one day I could work open to close, and not work until three weeks later and only work for an hour. SPARC has this as a mandatory requirement.

While 20hrs a week isn't a lot, working when I want does seem appealing.

SPAWAR offers me "promotion" opportunity through how often I work and my work ethic. I can reach max of $18/hour. While SPARC offers "promotion" to roughly $17/hour. But, SPARC also offers percentages of the app revenue to its developers. So if an app brings in $6,000 in a week, the 24 man dev team each gets a split of 40% of that total. So that is $100 extra (this is figuratively speaking of course).

I don't know. I could care less where I was interning at, I'm in the process of working up SPARC to offering me a higher number of pay and/or more flexible hours...

p.s. this is also on top of my goldfarming bots and my flower game hosting which gets me about 400M RSGP a week (yay for 32 bots)
