Seems like they are well prepared. The thing is though, Java bots now are only a small majority of bots with colour being the majority. Good share :)

Yes and it will be mainly target towards injection bots during the month of july. But color bots will just stand back, watch jagex does its thing. And then blow it away in less than 24 hours.

Yes jagex can hurt it by changing the fonts or even remove some important features of runescape. But the people that will get pissed off is the human players. As bots once you solve it then its cool, but human players are whats suffering from it every single day. Which at the end will turn more players into using bots. And opengl/injection bots shouldn't be too underestimated too, they will come back soon enough.

So in the end of this bot nuke (if it comes), its just going to be a win win for bots and players.

    Cheers :)

good riddance! ill be happy when they come out with the update. i cant train hunter anymore via red chins because every single world is filled with bots. i see lvl 3's-60's all with like over 70m xp in hunter. And reporting them obviously is doing nothing.

What the fuck did I just read? Can you please explain? Personally, I don't see how these nukes are turning mad players into botters. They are just simply quitting.

Personally I like all the injection bots as it takes the spotlight off my color bot.

That part was obvious, but the part that threw me off was when he started talking about how the nuke will be a win-win for botters and players.

Where's the part that it says it's a win-win for both legit players and bots?

    Bot Nuke Comfirmed?!

I was a little sleep when I first posted that. So please allow me to explained it a bit more.

So lets assume that jagex can stop injection/reflection/opengl bots (otherwise the bot nuke is going to be useless, which I am pretty confident that it will be).

The only bot type left would be color. Now the only way to stop color, is to DRASTICALLY change the graphic interface for runescape. Which will would only temporarily disable color bot at best, and at the cost of pissing off A LOT of legit players.

So once color bots solve and get past jagex's update, legit players would probably either quit, or if they are still hooked on rs.. join the botting scene.

Once that has happened, the pissed off legits can relax, and let the bots do the work and bot makers and relax and make their money off the surge of botters. In the mean time jagex's parent company (which are the real butt holes) can go sit in a corner and watch their money dissapear.

*Again this is assuming they can take off injection/opengl, which I don't think its quite possible*

    Tl;Dr?

If there were to be a 'effective' bot nuke, legits will get pissed off and start botting.
If there were to be a 'uneffective" bot nuke, legit will still get pissed off that bot still exist and could potentially move into the botting industry.

    Have fun:)

RS is not the same without andrew. I mean mod mmg is doing a good job and every thing but they need to make a better game rather than squeezing money out of teens.

Jacomb has lied in the past so for him to say this doesn't really hold much water. I really don't see jagex doing much of anything other than adding the combat setup which will make all bots obsolete for a little while and they will talk about how amazing they are at stopping bots just as they did with their first "nuke" that was more of a joke to the botting community than anything. I honestly think the lawsuits had more effect than their nuke.

Jacomob knew that he was going to work for jagex and still told everyone that the bot will be back in "14 days" just so he won't refund everyone.

That just shows you how low he is and that he didn't give a damn about his community (which is now actually closed dispite he "claim" his intention was to make it a fan site).

Haha, no bot nuke is ever going to make a legit person bot.

You do realise that there are people that play this game because they enjoy playing it, right? If the game becomes unplayable, they will quit, not start botting.

Not extremely on topic but I just don't understand this leap you are making. If you could elaborate perhaps?

I'm not too sure, at the end of the day it's basically just an arms race. Where there's a will there's a way and therefore I believe no matter what obstacles Jagex throw in the way of bot programmers, they will always find a way around it. Maybe not right away, but eventually.

Bottling is inevitable, no matter what Jagex tries, bots will always find a way back into the equation. It is a major money marketing campaign for botting organizations.

In every game there is a cheat code, thats just a fact. There is always a way to have a upper hand on the average player, it's not just RuneScape, it's everything. Xbox, Playstation, etc.. They'll never be able to completely do away with bots, the only thing they can do is monitor them and put speed bumps in their way.
