    What all of this sounds like to me is that they are throwing in an action bar, but the combat upgrade will mainly focus on equipment usage. I am not sure what to think about this, what do you guys think?

    They added greater detail to what they confirmed before, in that there will be a focus on the skills of the player. And that combat will be more unpredictable. The new maximum lifepoints is bound to make fights longer, and perhaps more interesting, especially in pking.

    Sounds like they will be rebalancing the combat triangle considerably so that you have to think more carefully. Also sounds like Nex armour will crash.

    It reminds me a lot of what I've played of Ragnorak/Maplestory (even though I might have played like an hour's worth of them combined) - It sounds like the new update will focus on updating the CB system to some kind of actual combat rather than just autofighting the monster/timing the clicks right.

    The only thing that I'm wondering is if xp rates for melee will get a lot slower once this new update comes out because it sounds as if the combat revamp will make fights longer/NPCs harder to kill.

    I am sure the XP rates will be completely adjusted to match the new combat system, it would only make sense.

    Adjusted so that xp rates would stay relatively the same? Or would 99 att/str/def be even easier to get? I definitely don't think they'd be able to adjust it perfectly - especially with the new abilities that they'll introduce and revamping the NPCs in general.

    I guess it'll be interesting to see what happens in Beta.
