200m runescape accounts celebration?

If anyone's bothered to look at the home page, you'll notice that they have a counter set. Apparently the counter is there because soon enough the game will have hit a huge milestone:

200m runescape accounts created!

They'll also be a big celebration going on with of a bunch of events planned, etc. etc. Do you think they'll really do something special though? The only way we'll find out is when the game actually reaches 200m accounts(like 2.2m left to go), so everyone start making up random noobs! Lol...

There's also a lot of talk on the forums about how many of those accounts are actually players... well I blame all of you for the 'non-legits'! ;D

 

Come on this is jagex...... Hardly going to give anybody something decent hehe.

 

200m accounts created and probably only less than a quarter of that number are legit players playing currently. No, actually I take that back. I bet 150m of those are bots, 145m of which are banned/thrown away and 5m are owned by inactive players who used to bot.

and of the 50m remaining, 45m are inactive, 3m are bots and 2mil are active (within the past 30 days) players.




OT: Knowing Jagex, they will probably have some troll event where you get a worthless, ugly, pointless cosmetic item that will just sit and waste your bank space.

 

Of course I don't expect them to give anyone anything...but who knows, they might hold a special event or something. Especially with them being unpredictable(well kind of predictable now) by switching up their own rules and all that nonsense to benefit themselves...might make another move to be 'popular'.

 

When did they hit 100 million? I don't know what they'll do for the 200m event, maybe a few competitions? I wonder what will happen to the 200 millionth account that is created.

 

Im going to make the 200m account and name it "200m acc" loooooooool

 

It's probably going to be some random person whose name is '200mthbotftw'...

In all fairness though, I doubt anything considerable will happen. If anything I'd say they'd release a special insight to the combat update and maybe free membership for the 200 millionth account.

 

yea when dose jagex ever give us anything good tbh i dont even see the point of doing this so many of those accounts are banned and are botted and inactive on?
