youtube: partner account worth selling and is it allowed?

well I do guitar covers as well as post some of my own content on youtube and I recently was accepted as a youtube partner. I personally have no use for this as I would have to get ok'd to monetize most of my videos from the bands and their labels etc. and I'm just in it for the fun not to get paid.

Here is some of the other details of the account at the time [ will be higher]
429 Subscribers
8820 video views
3+ years since creation of the account

let me know if I am able to sell this and if so around what you think it would be worth.

 

I personally don't think its allowed, and I don't think it'd be worth it.
People subscribed for that sort of material, and the new owner would have to produce the same content. Idk tbh, but personally I wouldn't.

 

thanks for the response if anyone else can give me a 100% sure answer I'd appreciate it also I believe once you're a partner unless you break their tos you won't be taken off the partnership so even if you lose subscribers as long as you can get a following you can still make money.

 

I think you should just keep it. There's people that actually like what you're doing for fun, so why not just continue? You are doing it for fun afterall.

And as what Just Sayin' said. The new owner would have to post the same type of material, and I don't think you would get that much.

Yes you can sell it on Sythe, but Youtube would never let you. They could easily see that it has been sold and ban the account. I wouldn't risk it mate.

 

Obviously not allowed by youtube, but it's permitted on sythe. However, I think you should keep the youtube account.
