why is everything crashing at this time? everything is at an all time low, i know the combat evolution is affecting it but whats the main deal? discuss please

 

People freaking out and mass selling on the exchange. The difference between supply and demand.

 

Might be cause of the patch, not sure, weird though.

I'd say he does as if there is a surplus of items and not much demand for that item at a given price, the price must drop ideally to restore equilibrium to the market - where the demand meets the supply and the market is cleared.

It is probably due to the combat update - the most noticeable thing is that they will be removing the special attack from weapons so weapons that rely on their special attacks such as Dragon Claws and Armadyl Godswords are dropping considerably in price.

If there's a time to sell your good weapons, I'd say it wouldn't be now. There's always the possibility that it could be a bad idea.

 

Also optimus is going to cause some fluctuations.

 

The combat beta definitely is a factor of the price changes.

 

Probably has to do with the whole "combat evolution" that Jagex is releasing. I've found that updates or upcoming updates can cause players/RS economy to panic in ways that a real economy wouldn't, lol.
