why do people kill bot killers?

This honestly makes no sense to me....I can understand the argument that I am skulled...BUT, unless the person is retarded, you aren't getting the whip/poly they use...

The most anyone has ever gotten from me was a glory. People like this are just annoying...

So lets say you're lucky and get 1 whip an hour...thats about 600k minus supplies...you can make 2m an hour easily killing the actual botters...

 

Thats why you go there like a bot, and kill the people either going there to kill bot killers, or wait for the person killing bots, to skull on you then tb/bolas/kill haha

 

Usually they want to smite u if u have ags or claws or something its very annoying in revs and dragons

 

That barely makes sense and all this waiting would waste time...it is easily over 125k per trip and one trip takes about 3-5 minutes...

The point of what I am saying is, even if they try to smite you, you're not really going to get anything at all...I have had people tb me, smite me, gang the shit out of me, ancient mace me, etc...Never lost a poly, which is why I am wondering why people do it....

If I wanted to pk, I would go pk, not get shitty kills against people risking a glory....

 

Most people don't find killing bots fun. I'd much rather fight a human than an npc.

 

It's similar to people killing rev killers. They do it to just piss you off or they are shit pkers and kill people like that to make themselves feel better.

 

That is why you should go pking...Unless you're so garbage at pking that you have to kill people wearing nothing and using trouts as food...

Don't know why you are bringing up money per hour as a factor on how to play rs. You should be playing it for fun. 2m/h doing something unfun like bot killing is ridiculous when you could just work a rl job and get 10x that easily.
But if bot killing is fun to you then by all means play the game how you enjoy it, but then don't turn around and lecture others how they should play

I'm sure most probably do it to be "griefers", though in today's wildy where you only have 2 choices : Edgeville 1v1s rinse and repeat, or the occasional hybrid fight at dragons. Maybe some just want to find someone outside of that group to kill. The great thing about wildy back in the day is you could walk everywhere and always be expecting someone to be lurking around. These days mb is deserted, everything is, so if people are able to find a new market of players to kill (bot killers), then good for them.

I am bringing up money as an argument, because money is what makes rs fun...The only reason I am trying to make money right now, is to gear up for bossing. Which is what I do for fun on rs...

I also have a full time job, but I also have bills to pay. I don't have extra money to spend on buying gold, or I would be doing that. I don't really find anything that makes money on rs fun, which is why I do the thing where I can make the most money the quickest...The faster I make money = the faster I can stop and go do something I find fun...

Also, have you not played rs? 99% of the players do things for money...It's nice that you're probably rich as hell on rs and can spend all your time doing awesome things...But until I make enough, I can not...

ATM I am killing bots and training herblore. Next I need a cls...That is going to take a while, but when it is done, I will be able to boss effectively and have a lot of fun doing it.

RS is just like any other game, sometimes you have to do things that you don't find very fun. You do them to increase the fun you will have later...

The only thing I could see people killing bot killers for, is to be annoying and laugh about it...Basically just trolls with too much time on their hands...

You brought up the argument of money making for the OTHER players. Not you. If they have enough money then why can't they do what they want?

You are using the wilderness to make your money. You should be at risk of dying, this is the point of the wilderness. Risk vs reward

 

Lol I've made aloooot of profit doing this back in the day.

I'd dress up as a bot wait for the bot killer to strike / super pot /dclaw spec them or if I saw a low level I'd 2 hit them take loot and just get out of there.

I remember once I saw 2 guys fighting one downed the other guy (both skulled) As the person that killed the other picked up all the loot I came in and speced him for it..

Personally,I think this is better than luring whilst providing some fun when you're bored with runescape.

Also, I brought up money, because I expect that is what it is for, all people I know who kill bot killers are doing it in hopes of a whip. I never thought that maybe they are just runescape trolls.

 

people who kill bot killers are just bringing more bots into the game because less will be killed, really anouying when ever i get a grater demon task i do it in forginity dung where the revs are because i can kill grater demons using a cannon there and it's multi combat, sometimes i kill the bots as i leave and some ass hole trys to kill me as i am the green drag bots
