Chaotic Rapier vs. Chaotic Longsword vs. Chaotic Maul

But different situations call for different measures. The C Maul is rubbish for slayer and obviously staking.

 

I just got the rapier. Loving it atm, the high stab bonuses it possesses trumps all else.

 

I love c maul for pking

 

C Maul is very slow but can sure make some damage with 1 hit on the other side C Rapier looks awsome and its fast so if i had the chance to choose one ill have to go with Rapier since i love the way it looks and its stats

i'd personally pick rapier , hit's quicker than CLS and almost always 40+(400) so hits more in the long run

 

I would choose Maul for PKing, and Rapier for anything else. Although I am an avid daily PKer, I got the rapier on my main and it does the prick for just about anything in PvM, for example it's perfect for Rev's.

Would never even consider getting a Chaotic Long really

I'm getting 80 dungeoneering in the near future on my 30 defence turmoil pure. Since the release of chaotics, I've always wanted that maul, but now, I'm contemplating the rapier... I do plan on PK'ing and from what I've read, they are both pretty amazing in wild. Any ideas?

 

Depending on your goal stats, and thus your final combat level. I would go for the rapier it is defenitely better against pures, since you are looking to get higher DPS rather than 1 big hit, which can be achieved by various special weapons already anyway. For other fights I would prefer rapier too, for instance hybriding zerkers or barrow pures, however maul would do good too, so it just comes down to what style you prefer. That's only if you are going like maxed turmoil pure though, with 99 Attack.

 

+1 Rapier is fastest and can make some good damage, Maul can make some big damage but is very slow all to risky in wild

 

Rapier due to versitility imo.

Dungeoneering, They cost tokens. I prefer chaotic maul because it's way better to pk with and im a pker.

 

Rapier for me as I love slayer and its good for it.

Yeah it honestly depends on what you're using it for.

I love my rapier for general use; there's some times where I might use a CLS. I use the maul at waterfiends if I'm slaying (haven't done combat in awhile).

If I only had 1 chaotic -- it would be the rapier because that's the one that I happen to use the most.
