Would anybody be interested in starting a Sythe RS clan?

I know this has been suggested and tried several several times, but with summer coming maybe this is an opportunity to bond closer and create our own clan especially with all these clan-related updates Jagex has introduced recently. Is there any interest?

I would join, well you could talk about sythe..just use a different word to refer to the website

 

If this actually goes forward I think we would adopt a word to replace sythe for example. What's his username on craigslist?

 

I got an idea what if we make a clan only invites can join? using the clan chat not friend chat and only sythe members can join and close friend etc

 

Right. That was what I was going for in the first place. I'd be very official in the sense that we wouldn't allow everybody and anybody to join. You'd have to be a sythe member

 

You just need 4 founders and were good to go

Problem is getting people in it ...most are in other clans and stuff

 

Seems like a good idea in theory, but I don't see it happening. Plus, it doesn't look like a lot of people are interested.

I think this has been tried a couple times but has fizzled out each time for various reasons. Hell, always worth another shot. Though I don't play rs anymore.

 

Worth a shot though I doubt it would occur. I've heard there was automatic mutes for people saying filtered names like gold4fun and sythe, and no doubt there will be people who join who accidentally say that and then complain if they receive a mute. Also moderation of it would have to be organised, its quite a lot of work.

The clan is called SM (As in Sythe Members) It has 40 members and is just a social clan with no Req's.

 

Just a clan for everything or focused on certain events etc?
