Just out of interest , how has enough spare cash too spend $1000+ on a item in game that could easily vanish like your account gets banned jagex crashes and the game collapses .. How can you justify spending $1600 on a game? .. Im just interested so please dont go all rage on me

This isn't the right section to discuss this topic but I'l explain anyways. To shorten the explanation: gold merchanters would buy this because they can resell the GP in smaller amounts for a higher $/M rate and make a lot of profit on it.
